Lopez was in the water at the Lieber State Recreation Area’s Cataract Lake when he began behaving erratically, bobbing up and down in the water near a roped-off area of the beach. Bystanders brought Lopez to shore and began performing CPR on him until medical personnel arrived. He was taken to a Greencastle hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
