A Texas man who was severely injured nearly four years ago while visiting Indianapolis for an FFA convention has died. Phillip Caler, 20, of Booker, Texas, died Sept. 29 and his funeral was Oct. 3, an obituary said. Caler had been in a coma since suffering head trauma and several broken bones in an Oct. 22, 2009, fall at Circle Centre mall. He was 16 when he fell 41 feet over a third-floor escalator railing.
