A fire that broke out at about 2 a.m. Wednesday destroyed the vacant JT’s Ritter Inn building on the southeast side. The building at Ritter Avenue and Brookville was previously home to the restaurant and tavern popular with Navistar International factory workers, but has been closed for about two years. The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
