Bisard defense wants testimony struck

David Bisard’s attorneys on Friday asked the judge overseeing his reckless-homicide trial to strike testimony from an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department witness who received e-mailed summaries of court proceedings. Judge John Surbeck told attorneys he was not inclined to strike testimony, but would consider the request. The prosecution is expected to rest its case Monday. Defense attorneys have listed 113 potential witnesses. Prosecutors say Bisard was drunk when crashed his squad car into a group of motorcyclists in August 2010, killing one.
