  1. I have no trouble with the IEDC getting funding to bring economic
    development to our state. We need it badly. Especially in Indianapolis.
    But there should be oversight and accountability.

    It should also be results oriented & driven. If they want that kind of money
    to work with, then they better be treating economic development as a
    blood sport. No participation trophies.

  2. If I had to guess, the IEDC was not transparent or honest with the Sate Budget Committee. The concept map that they have on their website and budget proposal for Lebanon LEAP is a ruse. Honestly, there should be some serious ramifications. 1) They are advertising plots for development that they do not and will not ever acquire. In other words, they are offering up property for sale that is not theirs. The concept map is no where close to the actual land they have gotten contracts on. 2) If you start digging, the use of COVID relief funds becomes very questionable.
