As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowWTHR-TV Channel 13 was available to DirecTV subscribers again late Thursday night after the Indianapolis station and the satellite-TV provider reached an agreement in their dispute over fees.
DirecTV customers had been unable to receive WTHR since Sunday.
The two sides made the announcement on their Twitter feeds.
"We've reached an agreement with WTHR, and that channel should now be back on," DirecTV wrote.
"ATTENTION DirecTV CUSTOMERS: WTHR is now back on DirecTV's lineup. Your service should be restored," the Indianapolis NBC-TV affiliate wrote.
No details of the agreement were announced. The conflict ended in time for WTHR customers to watch at least some of the regular-season National Football League opener between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks.
WTHR, which is owned by Columbus, Ohio-based Dispatch Broadcast Group, was among more than 50 TV stations nationally that were no longer being shown by DirecTV over retransmission consent agreements.
