I wondered how long that piece of property would remain vacant. Looks like a great amenity for the community!
lap poop – lol! Someone forgot to proof their work.
Sounds awesome, especially the “lap poop” lol.
Because having a YMCA isn’t enough, and you must keep up with Carmel’s Monon Center. Y not partner with a community organization on this project rather than it being a standalone entity requiring all its own back office infrastructure?
I’m a regular swimmer, but I’m not going for this: “aquatics facility with a lap poop”.
This does seem to be a city built competitor to the Y, which the city of Fishers originally partnered on.
The question is – which will be cheaper for residents – the Y or the government run facility (even if you don’t take into account the residents’ contributions to the $60 million up front cost).
Some background on Johnson Farms and their decision to not sell the land to developers would be nice.
I wonder if it will cost $50 to park for those who don’t live in Fishers.
The number one request from Fishers residents in the survey was for more trails and sidewalks along the roads. I don’t get everywhere in Fishers, but I have not seen anything other than the Nickel Plate.
