100 million gallons is apparently what is needed for what is on the drawing board now. Once the space is used up, it begs the question about “future expansion” that would presumably need additional water. I call it two leggin’ it. the study would be wise to calculate how much can beyond safely be redirected as a total. That would address any potentiality in the future…but i suppose if it were to arise that a current survey/study would still be in order….idk
Why not evaluate a resivior near 47 and Sugar Creek?? That seems like a better alternative…
Clark, Enough people have been uprooted and have had their homes destroyed because of this stupid project. I and probably another 100+ families in the area would prefer that what we have worked hard for to NOT be sitting at the bottom of a reservoir. This whole LEAP project is about putting corporate and political greed over Hoosiers. It is wrong!
Why not move leap to Lafayette?
Oh, but it may take money from someone’s pocket.
Gosh, if only Indiana had something like a “Department of Natural Resources” with a division for Water.
Oh, wait…
+1
What a cluster. This project NEVER should have been approved without transparency and a complete study of what would be needed, including water supply. Our elecgted officials have nailed it again!! Indiana Finance Authority is the perfect agency for this assignment. *eyeroll*
They will work it out. Relax
If your worried about LEAP NOT happening then by all means vote for Braun for Gov. He will guarantee
it gets done.
Finance Authority knows more than DNR? Or an engineering firm??
Interesting
All of this is BS and cart before the horse … typical government.
