“Ryan said cheap beer and sticky floors, two things commonly associated with sports bars, won’t be found at Tom’s Watch Bar.”
So, $11 beers? Got it. All joking aside glad another business is investing into downtown Indy!
We keep doing permits for downtown area. This one included.
Disappointing…
Does downtown really need another
Sports Bar?
YES!
Yes. It does.
I’ll be sure to let you know when the city-county council passes an ordinance requiring you to go.
Does downtown Indy currently have a good sports bar?
Yes, Mark A., downtown has SEVERAL good sports bars and another one is definitely welcomed!
So glad something is moving in the vacant space, great location.
Also glad to hear that an empty downtown space is being filled but I was surprised by the catering to 25-35 year old sports enthusiasts. Why limit your marketing to a 10 year age bracket?
Anybody will be welcome, they are trying to extend the longevity of the popularity for this location.
Cool
“We just wallpaper our restaurants in TVs. Every seat is the best seat in the house.”
This sounds like hell.
Sounds like heaven to me!
If that sounds like hell to you, then you must not like sports and shouldn’t go. That’s the whole point of that place.
I think this spot would attract more guests if Illinois street were two-way and the bike lane extended all the way down to georgia instead of stopping at washington. Being on the ‘left’ side of a one-way street just seems like a bummer for a business.
Right side heading north
Douglas, it is indeed on the left side of the street heading north.
This is going to flop. Hard.
Same old negative Nellie, wet-blanket Murray. What took you so long? Happy and satisfied, now that you posted your typical comment?
And why? I’ve been to several of these locations and they are always happening. Indy is a sports town, seems like a no brainer!
