California-based Alorica
Inc. announced today that it will create more than 600 jobs by establishing a
customer-service center in
customer-support services ranging from call-center operations to Web-traceable
service logistics, will occupy a 49,900-square-foot building on
a building previously used by an indoor go-cart track.
The Indiana Economic
Development Corp. offered Alorica up to $675,000 in performance-based tax
credits and up to $100,000 in training grants based on the company’s
job-creation plans. Additionally, the IEDC will provide the city of
grant to assist in off-site infrastructure improvements.
