of its top Bloomington campus administrators as Richard McKaig and
Terry Clapacs retire this summer.
McKaig is the campus’ dean of
students and will retire July 31 after 38 years at the university.
Clapacs is the vice president and chief administration officer and will
end his 43 years with IU on June 30.
McKaig has been the dean of students since 1991 after working in several other administrative jobs.
Clapacs
was the school’s athletic director in 2002-04, but spent much of his
career on campus construction projects. He says he considers his best
work the restoration of the oldest part of campus after it had declined
by the 1970s.
