Ale Emporium plans to bring its signature Hermanaki chicken wings to Hendricks County.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said an Avon location is expected to open in April or May 2025, following construction at the Beechwood Centre retail center near the intersection of Rockville Road and South County Road 800 East.
The work to add a 9,500-square-foot restaurant in the shopping center that includes a Rural King and D-Bat Baseball and Softball Academy is scheduled to begin Aug. 1.
The restaurant will be the fourth Ale Emporium in central Indiana. The original Ale Emporium opened in 1982 as part of the Castle Creek Plaza retail center at the intersection of East 86th Street and Allisonville Road.
The 12,000-square-foot restaurant followed a short-lived dining concept, Lefty and Lloyd’s, that opened in 1981 at 8617 Allisonville Road.
Ale Emporium expanded to Fishers in 2018, when a location opened at 11501 Geist Pavilion Drive. The third Ale Emporium opened in 2019 at 997 E. County Line Road in Greenwood.
Online travel review site Trip Advisor lists Ale Emporium as one of the top 10 restaurants for both pizza and wings in Indianapolis.

You’re not allowed to pass judgement on another establishment’s wings if Hooters is your favorite wing place, or you prefer boneless. Do you check either of those boxes? If not, where is somewhere that has what you consider not trashy wings?

Surprised they haven’t opened up a spot downtown yet. They are always packed and that area along Meridian St. could use a little competent restaurant.
Former Scottys at 1 Virginia Avenue would be a great spot! Patio for live music and wings and beer before games.
