Greenwood and the nearby area are seeing a surge of restaurant and retail activity, with several new businesses already open or getting set to open.

Most of those businesses will be in Greenwood Park Mall, according to Indianapolis-based landlord Simon Property Group, including P.F. Chang’s and Verde Flavors of Mexico.

Here’s a look at what’s coming soon or already here:

Restaurants

  • P.F. Chang’s: The popular Asian chain, which has area locations at Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis and outside the Fashion Mall at Keystone, plans to open at Greenwood Park in 2025, according to Simon.
  • Verde Flavors of Mexico: Operated by Fisher-based Arechiga Restaurant Group, Verde is expected to open in early 2025 next to B.J. Restaurant at Greenwood Park. The first Verde opened in Fishers in 2009 and is one of more than a dozen restaurants owned by Arechiga under several names. The company also has Verde locations in Indianapolis, Carmel and Zionsville.
  • Bibibop Asian Grill: The fast-growing, build-your-own-bowl chain is set to open just outside of Greenwood, at 8603 S. Emerson Ave., on Thursday. The Indianapolis area is already home to Bibibop eateries at 4026 E. 82nd St. in Indianapolis, at The Bridges in Carmel and at Fishers District in Fishers.

Retailers

  • Lovesac: Expected to open this fall in Greenwood Park, Lovsac is a growing furniture chain that got it start selling beanbag chairs and is now known for its modular “Sactional” line of furniture. The Connecticut-based national retailer has existing area showrooms at the Fashion Mall at Keystone, Clay Terrace in Carmel and Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville.
  • Painting with a Twist: Set to open this fall at the mall, Painting with a Twist provides a studio where customers can take art classes while enjoying drinks and fun with friends. Originally called Corks & Canvas, the chain has more than 300 franchised studios nationwide, including locations in Carmel and at 8804 N. Michigan Road in Indianapolis.
  • Sodom Rose: Already open at Greenwork Park next to Francesca’s Boutique, Sodom Rose is a women’s clothing boutique that also carries shoes, handbags and jewelry.
  • Miniso: A Chinese-based retailer with more than 6,000 locations worldwide, Miniso is a variety store that carries everything from toys and electronic products to cosmetics, stationery and kitchenware. The company also has a store at Castleton Square.
