  1. What an interesting conversation. Why are these companies backtracking and changing policy on issues they allegedly felt so strongly about. Every company should be allowed to operate according to their values. By the same token, all consumers can choose where to spend money based on their own values.

    1. It comes down to a hyperpolarized political environment fueled by social media and right wing media. These guys don’t want to face a threat of a boycott or worse yet some neo-fascist christian national fanatic showing up at a store and causing problems.

    2. What’s wrong with a company just sticking to their primary business? Don’t take any political stance because you’re going to offend half the population. If you sell home improvement items then deal with home improvement issues.

  2. “Robby Starbuck, a conservative political commentator who has gone after companies like Tractor Supply and John Deere, took credit for the changes Monday in a post on X, saying he had approached a Lowe’s executive online last week and detailed his plans to “expose” the company over its hiring policies and other topics, such as LGBTQ+ employee resource groups and funding for Pride events.”

SO SICK OF ALL THESE HATEFUL ULTRA MAGA ZITS.

    1. So it’s okay when the liberals and leftist media attack companies and give them scores on HRC and want to demonize them if their score isn’t high enough but when the conservatives do it it’s bad. Such hypocrites
