As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowKroger Co. has agreed to carry spirits produced by Hotel Tango distillery at its Indianapolis-area grocery stores, the companies announced Thursday.
Hotel Tango products, including its gins, vodkas and rums, will be available in 20 Kroger stores in Indiana and Bloomington.
The Indianapolis artisan distillery opened in April 2014 at 702 Virginia Ave. in the Fletcher Place neighborhood. Founded by former Marine Travis Barnes, it is the first disabled-veteran-owned distillery in the state and country.
Kroger will carry Hotel Tango products Golf Gin, Victor Vodka, Romeo Rum, Lima Charlie Limoncello and Mike Moonshine.
Micro-distilleries in Indiana can sell up to 10,000 gallons per year from their own premises but are unlimited in the amount they can sell through a distributor.
