  1. Now put it on local TV so that all Indianapolis area folks who cannot attend (either physically or because of finances) can also enjoy the race live on TV. Set a minimum live gate of 250,000 or so (which is nearly guaranteed to be surpassed) to protect Indy Car, for this to happen.

    1. You can certainly fight that good fight but in the meantime, VPN costs $10 and you can get all the 500 you want with that. Obviously, this was not an agreement that involves the local Indy fans — it was between teams and IndyCar. You have to admit that IndyCar has looked a lot more professional and ‘together’ than any time in the last, oh, 30 years. I credit Penske taking over as the reason.
