The fraud that is IU football will be exposed gloriously.
By the fraud that is Notre Dame football, or by the juggernaut that is Georgia football after IU disposes of the fraud that is Notre Dame football?
Now Murray, be gentle on the IU fans. For many of them, this is the first time they’ve been aware that IU has a football team, and now they’re playing the football team that many of those hardcore IU fans rooted for all this time, Notre Dame.
The cognitive dissonance must be difficult for them and they need time to work through that. Heck, for some of those IU folks, it’s the first time they’ve been asked to stay at football games all four quarters. They must be exhausted on top of that.
Fortunately, based on how their men’s basketball team has played so far, it looks like they will be able to recover by taking naps during the second half of their games. Why cheer hard if your team won’t play hard?

Im just proud that two teams from Indiana will be playing in front the nation showcasing the love of football in the state. Would have preferred that they didn’t play each other. Would have liked to seen how far each could have gone in the playoffs without a state rival game. The Sport World isn’t ready for two Indiana teams winning in the playoffs.
