Has been the clearest, most concise and comforting weather reporter in this market for years. Enjoyed being a 2 game winner on ‘Hoosier Know it All’s’ at the old WTTV studios on Bluff Road.
The program’s future ended with the untimely death of former NBC ‘whiz-kid’ Brandon Tartikoff, the creator and producer. The program was initially going to be produced in states across the country. Kev, enjoy your retirement and thanks for keeping us appraised over the years.
Kevin’s retirement will leave a real void in local broadcast news. He’s a consummate professional on-air, and a genuine and caring good guy off-air. While Kevin accomplished all this on his own merits, you couple that with his father Bob Gregory’s impact and legacy on local television news, and you’ve got one heck of a family/career-arced story to be shared and celebrated. All the best Mr. G!
Is there no third-generation Gregory meteorologist? No Skip or Chip to carry on?
Watching the weather won’t be the same. He’s the only weather person that I’ll wait til the game is over to watch.
He will be missed. Especially for his genuine, down-to-earth, original and slightly goofy humor. One of a kind.
Congrats!
Are the Kevin Gregory and Chuck Lofton families going to travel together? Two Indy legends announcing retirement in the same wk. Both are great TV personalities and great people, have made our community a better place. May their retirements be long and happy.
