Personal opinion, serve dinner in The same room as the event. It’s a much larger attempt but anything is possible.when you put your efforts in it.
Agree. Dinner and theater should be in same room.
It’s called “Dinner Theatre” for a reason (i.e., one has dinner in the theatre!)

I agree with above folks — moving from dinner to theater is awkward, rushed, and not what “dinner theater” means. These shows sound like they are just musical revues anyway, so much better to be able to linger over dessert and drinks and enjoy the show.
