  1. Huston’s Folly: “We’ve really created a fantastic place and we should take every advantage to make sure people are aware of that. So when we had this opportunity to raise our hand and say, ‘Hey if you’re disenfranchised, we’d love to welcome you…”

  2. I’m just trying to square the circle of at the same time being in a hurry to kick Hoosiers off the Healthy Indiana Plan or ABA therapy or services for medically complex kids … because we don’t have the money … yet we are looking to add 33 counties from Illinois that are poor and broke.

If I was Illinois, I’d let them go, because I bet they benefit from the taxes in Chicago … more than they contribute.

Then again, maybe Huston just wants more places to put those data centers that will save us.

    1. At least state pie is relevant, wasting time on a topic that has no effect on everyday hoosiers is not respectful to voters.

  3. What a colossal waste of time and a stupid political grandstanding stunt!

Any resident of Illinois who wishes to live in Indiana can simply move to Indiana. If they choose not to make the short move across the border, it says all that needs to be said about their actual desire to live in Indiana.

The General Assembly of Clowns needs to focus on its real business of passing legislation that serves the interests of Hoosiers.
