Sad that Michael was the person with the vision for such a great facility, and due to petty F1 owners, he will not get to see the benefits. Hope the new team owners have success in their first season. F1 snobs.
About that vision … the plans changed because F1 prohibits teams from operating other race teams from their headquarters (too easy to do that to circumvent their cost cap), so TWG had to find a distinct building for their non-F1 efforts.
What’s not clear to me is if Michael made a big mistake in thinking he could have everything under one roof or … the FIA changed their rules.

In 2023 I got a call from an Andretti employee from UK called Mark Haskins out of the blue, who told me that “if I wanted to have business in Indiana, I needed to invest In Andretti F1.”
He said that “since the State of Indiana cannot invest directly in a F1 private team, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation came up with an INNOVATIVE program to pay for Andretti F1 via Andretti Formula E sustainability tax credits, both under Andretti Global” because according to the Andretti UK employee “ the Andretti sustainability tax credits were UNLIMITED in Indiana via a local battery team.”
I could not believe what he was saying, basically that IEDC was greenwashing, therefore committing an international crime, so I asked him to send me an email, and he did.
