  1. Let’s go TWG. Exciting development. Right partner. Great next step for MLS stadium and Indiana Fever Center. A great conduit for Mass Avenue and downtown entertainment district.

  2. They really need to get a move on this. It is crazy there is only 1 hotel near Mass Ave. Once this is completed it will completely change that part of the city because it has been dead for over 15 years.

    1. There is literally going to be an art gallery next door, and art installations are core to the 21C brand. Why not turn those screens into a permanent installation?

    2. Robert, I think they were emulating the gorgeous IPS screens on Delaware st. 😂

  3. Their initial rendering of the glass tower was a lot better. Why does this ALWAYS happen with developments in Indianapolis? Seems like we always go for the cheaper look. Frustrating, when our peers like Nashville, Cincinnati, Louisville and Columbus always seem to get it right. 😡

  4. Wish the city would let the architecture team that designed the new hotel being proposed at the airport redesign this project. A more modern sleek glass design would fit better but then there’s the historical society that’s always critiquing things.

    1. The IHPC critiqued the original concept as “too modern” and didn’t like the design, which is why we have this new design rendering. TWG wanted to go with the original but unfortunately, commission has the last say. I will say, the individuals on the board are very vanilla and lack vision and accepting creativity.

  5. Eli, that is not what happened. At least one commissioner argued that the original design was a style from the 90s; not modern enough. The fact is, TWG hired a out-of-town commodity designer and got an out-of-town commodity design.
