All anyone has to do is drive to 146th and Ditch to see for himself/herself that the area is strictly residential. Higher-end homes, horse farms.
Unfortunately, the information we received about the plans—quaint shops and restaurant(s) in an architectural style befitting the area—was nothing more than lies. It was the old marketing gimmick of bait and switch. I will be sure to advise anyone who is considering moving to Westfield, Harmony in particular, to consider another option.
Good luck to builder Estridge in seeing its own plans to build 600-plus homes in the subdivision. No one is going to want to live with pollution (noise, air and water), possible crime and increased traffic. I certainly don’t nor do my neighbors. But I guess what goes around, comes around.
