The company, which already has 170 headquarters employees and 300 workers overall, said it will spend $1.83 million to lease and equip its new 74,000-square-foot headquarters building at 51 Koweba Lane, which is two miles east of Monument Circle. Its headquarters previously was in a 19,000-square-foot building in the same area.
The company launched in 2005 as 360 Services, initially focusing on cleaning exhaust systems for restaurant kitchens across central Indiana. Team 360 Services has since diversified to offer kitchen hood cleaning, fire extinguisher and suppression services, electrical and mechanical services, grease trap pumping, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration. It has more than 20,000 clients nationally.
“Team 360 moved its headquarters to an underdeveloped downtown Indianapolis in mid-2010 to help create economic growth for the area,” CEO Michael Crafton said in a statement. “We believed in the growth of the city and wanted to support that growth."
He added: "In early 2015, we had to decide whether or not to move to the East Coast or continue investing in Indiana. Ultimately, Indiana was the better choice due to their commitment to local business, ideal central Midwest location and prime economic environment.”
In addition to Indianapolis, Team 360 has offices in Evansville and Fort Wayne, as well as in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada and New York. Its clients range from local and national restaurant chains to sporting venues, including Lucas Oil Stadium, and government facilities, including the Pentagon and Air Force One.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Team 360 Services up to $650,000 in tax credits and up to $75,000 in training grants based on the company’s job-creation plans. The incentives are performance-based, meaning the company cannot claim them until workers are hired.
