Why is our Legislature wasting time and resource passing unneeded legislation [Bill would let hospitals require flu vaccinations for clinical workers, IBJ.com, Jan. 16]?
Indiana is already an at-will state. If the employer has a clear policy requiring the vaccination (which as a health care provider I support 100 percent) and an employee chooses not to follow that policy, that’s a pretty clear cut reason for losing your job. No law needed. Get out of private employer/employee relationships. This isn’t an issue that should concern our government.
