IU’s Board of Trustees will vote on the proposed increases of 4.6 percent this year and 4.8 percent next year at IU-Bloomington and IUPUI. That would bring annual tuition to about $8,600 for most in-state students, not counting fees or other expenses. IU has a public hearing scheduled for 10 a.m. in Room 405 at IUPUI before today’s vote.
Ivy Tech Community College is also expected to approve a tuition increase today. The fast-growing community college is proposing increases of about 4.9 percent in each of the next two years at its 23 campuses around the state.
