As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowStudents at Indiana University and Ivy Tech Community College will pay at least 4 percent more in tuition and fees over the next two years.
IU Trustees voted today to increase tuition and fees by 4.6 percent this coming school year and 4.8 percent next year at the main campus in Bloomington and at IUPUI.
Rates will go up 4.4 percent this fall and 4.6 percent next year at the five regional campuses that IU oversees.
Ivy Tech trustees voted to increase tuition for the next two years by 4.9 percent. Ivy Tech has seen enrollment boom over the past two years, but says the rate increase only equates to $4.65 more per credit hour than this past school year.
