Ludo Fact GmbH said it will install new equipment over the next five years at the Jessup Paper Box plant in Lafayette. Ludo Fact acquired majority interest in Jessup last year and established its Ludo Fact USA division.
The company said the 652,500-square-foot plant's existing box production for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries will continue.
Ludo Fact has a current global production of more than 17 million board games and puzzles a year for about 200 game publishers worldwide. The 25-year-old company said it expects to add up to 75 jobs at the Lafayette plant by 2021.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $450,000 in conditional tax credits and training grants based on the job-creation plans. Ludo Fact must meet hiring goals to receive the incentives.
