Since Sharp is basically out of business, this would be a great time to reinstall James Willie Faust’s Chrysalis sculpture. It’s currently wrapped in plastic and stored in the airport’s basement.
This wonderful sculpture cost taxpayers/bondholders over $100,000 and was one of the country’s first major art installations, which many other airports are now copying. It was created for that space and the wall was reinforced to hold its weight. I sincerely hope that the Airport Authority reinstalls Chrysalis.
