Science Applications International Corp. executives announced today the company
would have 60 employees at its new site in Bedford when it starts systems integration work there.
State officials
say the San Diego-based company’s Indiana work force has grown from 100 employees in 2001 to its current level of more than
1,000 scientists, engineers and technicians. Its main Indiana location is at the West Gate Technology Park next to the Crane
center about 25 miles southwest of Bloomington.
Company senior vice president Dave Seckinger said the Bedford
site puts its operations close to its customer at Crane and in a proven manufacturing facility.
