Subscribe NowI read IBJ’s [July 13] “The Rundown” [email] and was appalled that there was not one columnist or editor addressing Curtis Hill’s right to due process in any substantive manner. Multiple accusers do not equal guilt of the accused by any stretch of the imagination.
For educated people dedicated to the rule of law and not the rule of the mob, it is irresponsible journalism to not have equal coverage of due process for accused individuals. What kind of society are you fostering by allowing accusers to be prosecutors, judges and juries, without commentary? If Mr. Hill is guilty, that will very likely come out in a just trial.
