his own death by jumping from a small plane before it crashed in Florida.
Marcus Schrenker’s attorney told a Hamilton
County judge he was still receiving documents related to the case and didn’t have enough time to prepare for the original
Nov. 9 trial date. No new date was set during a hearing Tuesday, but the trial is now expected to be scheduled for March.
The 38-year-old Schrenker has pleaded not guilty to charges he bilked clients out of $1.5 million. The suburban Indianapolis
man was sentenced in August to four years in federal prison on charges related to the Jan. 11 plane crash.
