It will include 500 apartments, a 200-room hotel, 20,000 square feet of retail and dining space, and a 30,000-square-foot grocery.
The project, Warren Town Center, is on the site of the former city hall and sits across from the General Motors Global Tech Center. The center employs 25,000 people and will be connected to Warren Town Center by a pedestrian bridge that leads to the hotel.
GM is expected to be involved in the property’s development, along with Detroit-based Acquest Realty Advisors, which is developing the hotel.
Construction is expected to start by the end of 2019.•
