The decision by Cheesecake Factory to open its second Indianapolis restaurant on the south side seems to validate the consensus among brokers that the area has been underserved by restaurants. The California-based chain is slated to open within a new lifestyle addition under construction at Greenwood Park Mall, according to mall owner Simon Property Group. The Cheesecake at The Fashion Mall at Keystone does more than $11-million a year in sales. Stir Crazy also plans to open at Castleton Square Mall, along with clothing retailer H&M. For more, check IBJ’s print edition.
