Cummins Inc. plans to build a four-story, 100,000-square-foot building as part of a revitalization of the old Commons Mall in Columbus. The project calls for demolishing much of the mall and replacing it with a new hotel, conference center and additional retail space. Indianapolis-based Dora Brothers Hospitality Corp. has nearly finished a new Hotel Indigo in the complex and also will build the new building for Cummins (shown here). Cummins is adding 500 employees to its roster of more than 5,000. The project was designed by Boston-based Koetter Kim & Associates and locally based CSO. What do you think?
