Wrecking crews this week tore down the Best Rentals building at 123 N. New Jersey St. (IBJ Photo/Robin Jerstad) The most recent plans for the space, revealed to city planners two years ago, called for a Caribbean-themed restaurant. No word yet on the new plans for the site. The zoning allows for residential, retail or office space.
Elsewhere:
- Olive Garden in slated to open in Noblesville near Hamilton Town Center on March 23. The 7,400-square-foot location will be the chain’s first for the county.
- Fireside Grill has opened at the corner of Fox and Oaklandon roads in Geist. Entrepreneur Jim Henderson opened the restaurant in the former Fox Pub & Grill.
- Famous Jack’s Burgers has closed in the Precedent Office Park near 96th Street and Keystone Avenue, and Big City Deli has closed at 53rd Street and Keystone Avenue.
