Here are two opportunities to take an early look at “District 9,” the acclaimed new science fiction film about alien refugees on Earth. (More details on the film here, but isn’t it a lot more fun going in without knowing much about it?)
I’ve got passes to a Thursday, Aug. 13 sneak preview at Kerasotes Showplace 16, 4325 S. Meridian St. Showtime is 7:30.
I also have a more limited number of passes to a midnight screening that evening good at Circle Centre, UA Galaxy, or UA Village Park. (I’ll be at this one, making a downtown double feature with our IBJ movie night screening of “Serenity.”)
Want to go?
Just drop a response here, indicating which tickets you would prefer. It’s okay to say “either.”
Also, while here, let us know your favorite alien species, whether from a book, movie, TV show or wherever. I’ll pull winners at random until the passes are gone.
Good luck.
