It was a theatrical triple-header for me this weekend, with a trip to the Phoenix Theatre for "The Most Dangerous Wound" (the wrong title for this very accessible, entertaining play, by the way), and longer jaunts to Bloomington for Cardinal’s "Inherit the Wind" and BPP’s "Talley’s Folly."
In between, I was lost in Antony Sher’s "Year of the King," an account of his process preparing for playing Richard II. It made me hungry for great Shakespeare. (Anyone up for a road trip across the Canadian border to Stratford next season? Christopher Plummer will be starring in "The Tempest.")
So what did you experience this weekend? Catch any of the acts at Rib America? (Sorry I got the location wrong in my e-mail blast.) Visit the IMA? Catch up on movies?
