DAY 8: Even in a world of iPods and music downloads, CDs still make great gifts. And there's plenty to choose from in the new release category at Indy's own Owl Studios.
I've been soaking in the Buselli-Wallarab Jazz Orchestra's latest release, "Mezzanine," which features a mix of the new (all inspired by written fiction) and the old (respectful and exciting takes on the likes of "Moonlight Serenade" and "Stompin' at the Savoy.")
Owl Studios also records Pharez Whitted, Monika Herzig, the Steve Allee Trio, and much more.
