Granite City Food & Brewery and Au Bon Pain are slated to replace a former TGI Friday's restaurant at the Indianapolis International Airport. Au Bon Pain opened today and Granite City is scheduled to open April 5. The concepts will be operated by locally based CC Holdings Inc. and share 4,000 square feet. The Minnesota-based Granite City chain has 26 locations in 11 states, including a restaurant at the northwest corner of Meridian and 96th streets. The Au Bon Pain will feature grab-and-go offerings and a small seating area, while Granite City will offer a full menu including Idaho nachos and the signature "Bedda Chedda" bacon burger. CC Holdings also operates two Copper Moon Coffee locations at the airport.
