The first summer season for Carmel's Center for the Performing Arts brings seven shows (in addition to the already sold out k.d. lang gig).
The schedule announced May 25 (with tickets on sale the 26th) includes some high-profile acts who have played other venues in the area in the past. But it also includes the first local shot by comic Martin Short, the comedic actor who has transitioned into legit theater in such stage efforts as "The Goodbye Girl," "Little Me," and his own Broadway show.
