What's in store for 2012-13 at the Palladium and its sister theaters, the Tarkington and the Studio Theatre?
The Classical series will include visits from the BBC Concert Orchestra with Keith Lockhart, violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, The Leipzig Quartet and more.
The Songbook series will bring in Johnny Mathis, Natalie Cole, recent Kennedy Center honoree Barbara Cook (who I just saw last week in New York at Feinstein's–more on that show later), and more.
Country and bluegrass means LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Dailey & Vincent, and more.
The Jazz series hosts B.B. King, John Pizzarelli, and Chick Corea/Gary Burton.
There are only three shows so far in the Dance series: The return of Savion Glover, Momix, and Stars of the Russian Ballet.
And then there's The B-52s, Sheryl Crow, Amy Grant, Natalie McMaster, Coach Bob Knight (no, he's not singing), Mummenschanz, and Kathleen Battle.
What one concert (besides Barbara Cook) am I most excited about? Put me down for opera great Renee Fleming, coming to the Palladium in February.
