The women's fashion chain bebe is taking the space now occupied by Kirkland's near the southern entrance to Castleton Square Mall, which will soon be flanked by anchor-size stores from Forever 21 and H&M. The California chain's only other local store is down the street at The Fashion Mall at Keystone. The final day for Kirkland's is June 9. The Tennessee home fashions chain still has stores in Greenwood and Plainfield and is scouting for a larger replacement location in the area to accommodate its new focus on furniture.
Also at Castleton Square:
- Tilly's, a California based chain specializing in action-sports gear including for surfing and skating, plans to open its first Indiana store at the northside mall. The chain is taking space in the J.C. Penney hallway next to Hollister. The store is scheduled to open in the fall.
- Teavana plans to open its fourth central Indiana store in a spot next to Great American Cookies near the mall's food court. A grand opening is planned for July.
- Finish Line has reopened its newly remodeled store including a Nike Track Club location. The store closed for the facelift May 2.
