Hungry for a new favorite dining spot? A trifecta of possessive new options are on the way to the Indianapolis area:
- Bagger Dave's Legendary Burger Tavern, a small Michigan-based better-burger chain, plans to open its first Indiana location on the northwest side along Michigan Road a few blocks south of Interstate 465. The restaurant is taking about 5,000 square feet formerly occupied by Cardinal Fitness next to Costco and in the same retail building as a McAlister's Deli. Bagger Dave's has 10 locations in Michigan and one in Missouri.
- Ralston's DraftHouse, a new restaurant from the owners of Chatham Taps in downtown and Fishers, plans to open a sister restaurant in the former home of Agio on Mass Ave. The restaurant will feature flatbread sandwiches, 24 draft beer taps and "endless possibilities," according to an announcement on Twitter. Agio closed in August 2011.
- Cheddar's Casual Cafe plans to open a second Indianapolis area restaurant on the south side near the Interstate 65 interchange with County Line Road. The Texas-based chain of traditional American restaurants, which opened its first location earlier this year along Rockville Road in Avon, will open the new restaurant at 5151 Noggle Way, next to a Hilton Garden Inn.
