We're approaching the deadline for the next IBJ A&E Road Trip. This one's to Chicago, on July 27, to see the world premiere of the stage musical version of "The Jungle Book."
Get a taste of the show and its unique combination of Indian music and American swing in a short workshop video here.
I'll be hosting the trip, which includes an optional visit to the Lincoln Park Zoo, prizes, games and discussion en route as well as behind-the-scenes access that you won't get anyhere else. Anyone who has gone to a previous IBJ A&E Road Trip can tell you that these are unforgettable experiences for buffs and theater newcomers alike.
Kids eight and older are welcome on this one.
Come see what one of the most acclaimed theater directors in the country, Tony-winner Mary Zimmerman, in conjunction with one of the most accomplished theater companies in the country, the Goodman Theatre, does with one of the most beloved films of all time.
