For me, the weekend included performing in a benefit for Camp Riley, catching Eclectic Pond's production of "A Comedy of Errors" and, of course, tweeting my way through the Oscars @IBJArts (see posts here).
I've also been on a kick of reading director autobiographies, thoroughly enjoying Nicholas Mayer's "The View from the Bridge" (He helmed "Time After Time," "The Day After," and "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan"). Now I'm midway through William Friedkin's tome “The Friedkin Connection,” which includes really interesting tales of the making of "The French Connection." What connects them? Roller coaster careers where even box office hits, awards, and critical acclaim can't guarantee control over their films.
What about you?
Did you catch some Shakespeare? Heckle the Oscars? Read a good book?
