The Indianapolis foundation launched the center in 2005 with $3 million.
The center attempts to improve patient safety and patient care through Purdue systems engineering, management, science and information technology.
The technology is brought to bear on patient scheduling and telemedicine, among other functions.
Regenstrief’s latest donation will be used to focus on health education and learning technologies. Another focus will be systems to analyze the delivery of health care and assess results on patients.
