The new holding company being formed by Colliers Turley Martin Tucker and three other commercial real estate firms will be headquartered in St. Louis, and include all 25 existing Indianapolis shareholders.
Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, which is based in St. Louis, announced the deal yesterday along with Colliers Pinkard of Baltimore, Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers of Washington, D.C., and New York City-based Colliers ABR.
ABR will be added after the holding company is formed through the exchange of stock in the three other firms.
The parties would not disclose the name of the holding company, preferring that the company be known under existing names in local markets, Jeff Henry, managing principal of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, said today.
Although the holding company will be based in St. Louis, CEO Mark Burkhart will be in St. Louis, Chairman Wally Pinkard will be based in Baltimore and President Joe Stettinius will have his office in Washington, D.C.
Colliers Turley Martin Tucker and rival CB Richard Ellis both claim to be the largest commercial real estate brokerage in the state.
The commercial arm of Indianapolis-based F.C. Tucker Co. Inc. merged with Colliers Turley Martin in 1998. The residential division of F.C. Tucker remains locally headquartered, and is not associated with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker.
