The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. July 11 at the construction site, which is bounded by 16th Street on the north and 10th Street on the south, between Indiana Avenue and the White River.
The beam will contain the signatures of area residents, as well as scientists and leaders in the life sciences, tech and advanced manufacturing industries who will work in the innovation district.
The $30 million building will be the headquarters of the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute, the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, and researchers with the Indiana University School of Medicine’s newly established Indiana Center for Regenerative Medicine, a molecular therapeutics program and technology incubator.•
