State highway crews early Tuesday opened the ramp from southbound I-69 onto I-465 to the city’s east side after workers
finished replacing a concrete support column and fixing other damage caused by last week’s crash and explosion.
The
state Department of Transportation on Monday opened all three lanes of eastbound I-465 traffic on the city’s northeast side
after it said tests found no structural damage to a bridge over the I-69 ramp.
State police have ticketed the 73-year-old
trucker for unsafe lane movement and driving too fast to avoid a collision.
